garden Schreiner, Mülheim
The individual spaces and the backdrop of this 3000 square metre woodland
garden had become unclear due to the dense growth and wild character
of the vegetation. The design therefore foresaw clearings in the stand
of trees with the intention of creating perspectives and increasing
the spatial experience.
A partially formed, existing terrace was generously extended and now
hovers above one of two newly created ponds, which are connected at
different levels by a spring and stream. Paved pathways lead around
the pond and stepping stones cross the water to a sundown sitting
area. The rear part of the garden blends into the landscape.
